This is my super awesome and so cool rivals shrine. I had to make a shrine for this game considering how much I yap about it tbh. This game made me pick up a comic book, that's how bad the obssesion has become

Marvel Rivals is a hero shooter video game developed and published by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games.

The story follows a hostile meeting between Doctor Doom and his heroic 2099 counterpart, which causes a "timestream entanglement" that leads to new worlds being created and heroes and villains from across the multiverse fighting one another to defeat both Doom variants before one claims victory over the new worlds.

Mains

Playing luna is actually pretty fun for me, I like how I have to be more precise with my aim. But my aim is so inconsistent w her, sometimes it's 55%+ or under 30%. Also, playing her against dive is miserable. Really want her dj emote but that skin is fugly so I'll continue to miss out.

I guess I would consider Sue my main, she's the character I feel most comfortable playing. But placing her ult kinda stresses me and sometimes I hold on to it for way too long... Hitting enemies and healing is so satisfying with her, I love my high damage and high healing stats.

The only dps I know how to play and actively play. Playing as him literally just feels like 'you ladies alright?' cuz I'm alwayss trying to peel lmao. Netease please keep buffing Bucky every patch for me ty. But 1v1s with him in doom match are kinda impossible unless the player has buns aim, maybe he's a little overtuned hmmm...

Omg new main, ty netease for the food. Yeah so playing Gambit is actually super fun, and I love his playstyle. Rahhh I wanna explode things rahh. I wanna keep playing and getting better with him, I'm currently at captain. Big fan that they made a support that isn't free, pls I hate dive. Hoping he doesn't get nerfed, especially when dd and hela exist.

I've been playing more Mantis so I can get better at her and get her to lord. She's really fun to play when you don't have someone in your ear yelling at you to swap (it's qp chill). Aiming with her is so inconsistent, but I somehow end up getting the final hits.

My practice vs ai main, heck yeah I go crazy on the bots (except the punisher - hard that mf scary). I'm still trying to improve on landing my headshots. Qp is not ready for my hawk. His lord icon highkey tuff too.

New dps main trust. I wanna get good with her so bad but aiming with her feels so weird and difficult for me. Any controller tips welcome lol. She gets the prettiest skins too omg. I just need to play her more tbh, but people instalock dps too quickly..

I got this skin gifted to me as a prize for an art contest! It's so pretty, I really do like it but it gets sus looks from my mom lmao. I personally like the default colors the most. I still don't fw the idea that she's not wearing shoes tho lol

GOTG VOL. 3

I technically got this skin for free from a constume coin... but I did end up buying the full bundle later cuz I really wanted the little dance emote. I think this skin is so cute, and is probably my fave skin of hers. Plus, I love the movies too so I'm a bit biased..

GROWTH AND DECAY

I also got this skin from a costume coin. Since I use C&D pretty often, I kinda needed a skin for them lol. I do really like this skin and the fantasy elements, plus the pink hair is super cute.

F4: FIRST STEPS

I'm kinda really attached to this skin since it was my first shop skin I bought. I got it with the units I've collected so far, so it was free. I don't really spend much, so I'm pretty picky with my skins but I really wanted this one. It's so pretty and cute, and the only negative thing I have for it is that it doesn't have a unique mvp. Might be my fav invis skin.

COOL SUMMER

A skin I bought with actual money. I really like playing Luna so I wanted a skin for her, and this one is really pretty (and lowkey all her other skins are flops for me). I do kinda want the pink color variant, but I've spent all my cosmetic currency. Kind of the unofficial, but official, e-girl skin lol

OCEANIC HARMONY

After the first wave of summer skins, i was really hoping Mantis would get one. And she did heck yeah. I think this skin is super cute but a bit more revealing than i expected lol. Still, i like the homage it pays to her original comic look. The orange color variant is my fave, I think the dark hair looks really nice.

FLORAL FRIGHTS

So I also bought this skin with money, but I kinda don’t really play Peni. But this skin is so pretty and also she’s latina. Idk the mexican in me just had to have it. It sucks how we can never see Peni in game cuz her design is so so cute. I also love the nameplate for this skin so much. I like both color variants, the white one is so pretty in how it makes them look like a skeleton.

CUDDLY FUZZLEFIN

I got this skin from the recent costume coin. I did play the game at launch so I was able to get this skin on my brother's account, but not mine since I started it around season 2. This skin is super cute, probably my favorite Jeff skin.

THIEVES GUILDMASTER

So he’s one of my new mains, so I need to get a skin for him, right? I do actually like this skin, the silhouette and colors are really nice. But I’m lowkey stingy with my units. Honestly, I really do just like his default skin too (it’s so me coded). I kinda want to wait and see what other skins he gets, but you know, I wouldn’t mind getting this skin gifted to me heh…

BREEZY BUTTERFLY

So this skin is no longer available atm. I was thinking of getting it when it was first shown, but i don’t play Psy enough for me to spend units on it. It’s so pretty tho, the colors on the default variant are such a cute pastel color palette. Maybe if it comes back, I could get it but idk.

BLOOD SOLDIER

I don’t have any skins for him and this one is my fave of his. I got to use it for a while from the college perks and I really enjoyed it. And the blue color variant is actually so pretty too? I’d have to get it if I do buy this skin. The only reason I haven’t gotten it yet is because, again, I’m really stingy with my units lmao. But I play him so often, maybe I will need to get it idk…

TURBO TAILWIND

She was one of my most played characters when I first started the game, and I remember I really wanted a skin for her but I didn't like the ones she currently had. I don't really play her anymore, but this skin is so cute actually?? It's limited so idk when I can get it again. Maybe I'll go back to playing her again, despite how targeted I'll be since everyone hates her lmao.

Thoughts

So here is where I actually yap about this stupid game. You can already get an understanding to what this game has done to me through my blog entries and my gamelog, but here it is again... RAHHH I LOVE THIS GAME BUT I HATE IT SO MUCH TOOOO!! So rivals was recommended a ton to me through youtube before its launch. It looked cool but I wasn't really sure if it was for me. Then it got released, and now I was getting like 10+ tiktoks in my fyp about it. And now it actually looked pretty fun and honestly very pretty too?? Squirrel girl reveal was crazy, tbh her design alone made me want to play as her and play this game. So erm, I downloaded it on my brother's console and then everything else happened. Because this game is actually so fun and it's so beautiful visually, but then why are my teammates so bad? Sometimes I get the feeling I'm getting bored of rivals but then I play the next day and realize I just felt that way cuz of last night's 5 game loss streak. It's so frustrating and lowkey half of the community sucks, but it's always getting new content and it gets better. I'm talking about ts like its drugs or something idk. So I've basically been playing this game for a year at this point, and I'll continue playing it until it ends or it becomes terrible. I've really forced myself into support jail and I want to keep exploring other characters and roles. Maybe people will yell at me in quickplay, but I want to keep learning and having fun aside from what I usually play. Althought rivals is in a weird spot right now, I hope the community can get better, and that the game to keep improving (just erase daredevil and the game becomes a 10/10 trust).
