So I wasn't a Bucky during his rise to popularity in the peak MCU era. I did watch the movies at the time but my faves were the very popular characters like Ironman and Spiderman. So erm, how did this obsession happen? One obsession led to another one, this all started with Marvel Rivals (as everything does around here).

So this little indie game called Marvel Rivals came out, you've probably never heard of it bfr, and Bucky was one of the playable characters at launch. Now, Rivals is a very pretty looking game with equally pretty looking characters. And out of all those characters, Bucky stood out the most to me because bro just look at him. He's literally just a guy with a gun in this game but that works for me, I got pretty used to playing him in games. And then apparently he was broken in season 1 so that was cool too.

I honestly just thought he was attractive and a fun character to play at this time but there was something else cooking in my brain. Idk then the brainrot just completely consumed me at some point and now I never shut up about him. So I've been going around and consuming any piece of media that has him in it. I've gone to rewatch previous MCU films that he was in and damn bro now I see why tumblr was obsessed at the time. I don't really like obsessing over real people/celebrities but Sebastian Stan is kinda... And yes I did watch Thunderbolts on release weekend and I loved him in that too, top 3 new MCU movie btw.

I haven't been reading any comics of his but I do want to really soon. I'm not much of a comic person so I'm literally just going to read the stuff that has Bucky in it lmao.

Yeah so I don't have a collection of merch for him and I don't think I will for a while since I don't like to share my interests with my family lmao. Maybe I'll go to a con someday and pick up a keychain or something. So I don't have a wishlist but what I do know is that I need that fuckass plush of him that's in the gallery.
