About

Selenne is a major side character for my story. A journalist, she's ambitious yet cocky. All of my characters come from the same story set in 2006.

Personality

Selenne is very boastful and brassy. She's direct and somewhat pushy, being a very assertive person. She presents herself quite confident and isn't afraid of speaking her mind. However, she can be sort of a glass-cannon. Basically, she says things to people but if they bring that same energy back to her she gets easily intimidated, similar to a tsundere. Despite this, Selenne is civil and polite towards others. She can be quite considerate and empathetic sometimes. She tries her best to make people feel better when they're down, although in a slightly awkward way because she's not the best at dealing with other's emotions.

Selenne is very dedicated to her job, which also ends up putting her in dangerous positions to get her stories. This does pay off, making her career very successful. She does think quite highly of herself, being somewhat of a narcissist and an attention-seeker. Selenne can also be quite nagging and bossy towards others, sometimes even being manipulative. This causes her to be disliked by a lot of people, but others respect her for what she does. She always feels the need to overachieve as she doesn't take failure too well.

More whimsy, bc I'm a filthy smash player, her mains are Inkling & Richter. Doesn’t play much but still has gamer rage. She thinks Inkling is cute, and likes how she looks kinda similar to her, so her inkling skin is the default one. Just plays Richter because she thinks he’s hot, spams specials.

My new obssesion is Marvel Rivals so her main is Scarlet Witch. She's kind of bad at video games ngl. She likes that she doesn't really have to aim with her. Dies 3 seconds after she ults 95% of the time. Turns on voice chat to yell at her team. Despite her overall bad game sense, she's always peeling and respects her healers.

- Selenne's design is inspired by most popular fashion trends from the 2000s

- She's a fashion girlie. She can sometimes get experimental with her outfits

- Her hair is not naturally orange, she dyes it. Her natural hair color is a dark brown

- Her very long eyelashes are kinda meant to resemble sensor antennas, since she's always on the look out for any news

- She usually wears some type of hat, she enjoys adding accessories to her outfits

- She wears a bit of makeup. Maybe her natural eyelashes are that long idk

Louis

Selenne met Louis when he offered to help her with one of her stories. With as prideful as she is, she denies his help as she prefers to work alone. Louis doesn't seem to care, he goes and follows her regardless. He does actually seem to help Sel so she doesn't mind him as much anymore, even though she doesn't know why he wants to help her other than him saying 'because I wanna'.

Ramiro

Selenne and Ramiro met some time ago. She finds him a nuisance. Being a traveling musician, and tourist trap, Ramiro knows just about everything that is going on. A lot of things; things that Sel also wants to know for her stories. But being the silly person he is, he prefers to mess around with her before giving her any information, much to her anger. (And they might have had something else going on in the past but idk...)

Mae

Selenne often visits the bakery Mae works at. She likes the food and ambience there, but she also sees it as a good place to get more information (and gossip let's be real).
