Overview.

Louis is the main protagonist for my story. He works as a hitman, being pretty good at his job. He's laidback and charismatic, but sometimes lazy. All of my characters come from the same story titled 'Walk of Fate'

ABOUT.

Louis is a relaxed and laidback person. He doesn't like to try too hard, nor take things too seriously. He's overly relaxed and doesn't seem to have any worries, always carrying a smile and simply wanting to have a good time. Though he is also snarky and sometimes just an asshole. He's a sort of 'you either like him or hate him' type of person.

The more you get to know him, the more you notice his interesting quirks. Even with his outwardly friendly demeanor, Louis likes to tick people off by using annoying tactics. He finds it very amusing when people do end up hating him for what he does. He's also observant and intelligent, knowing just the way to push people's buttons. Louis treats many things as a joke, being elusive and manipulative. He finds that doing things logically is boring and prefers to do things his own way. He is very capable of doing things the easy way but simply decides not to most of the time because he finds it more fun that way.

Louis is charismatic and social, something that helps him get around with his job and connections. He likes making conversations with others, using his social skills to control such conversations. He's also very flirty, specifically towards women. However, any relationships he has do not last too long as he's very uncommitted. This is sometimes due to his job, which asks him to travel constantly, or sometimes for no reason at all. He has left to go get milk several times.

Under the many faces he puts up, Louis' true self can be described as pessimistic and cynical. His pessimism shows up from time to time on the average, mostly through his sarcasm. Despite his confidence and capabilities, part of him fears failure and feels constantly depressed. But he only shows this side when he's alone and never with anyone else. He's not open about his true feelings and possibly never will be. Louis is the main character for a video game I'm currently working on.

Story.

I. CHARACTER STORY.

A well regarded hitman, Louis is known for getting things done. Even if it takes a few weeks, I suppose he's also known to do his own thing. Outside his job, he likes to get around and act as any normal citizen. But, what remains true is that to everyone is that Louis is... certainly a person. It's often that his personality and demeanor tends to get under other people's skin. Then again, he likes to do what he wants regardless of how it may affect others. Although, he does tend to be a little kinder to women.

Louis is part of a story I'm currently working on titled 'Walk of Fate'. He is one of the two main characters for this story. The basic plot: A bodyguard is hired to protect a famous singer from continuous threats, but there’s one issue: he’s also a hitman hired to eliminate her.

DESIGN NOTES.
Louis only had one major redesign and has stayed the same since, with some minor changes and additions (bc i cooked with him).
His design is basically meant to look like an ordinary person, but with something being off about him.
His hair is naturally like that, he doesn't bleach or dye it.
His dark eye circles are due to a lack of sleep, since his sleeping schedule is all over the place and he's kind of an insomniac. He doesn't really try to get rid of them because he thinks they add to his charm.
He is considered to be very good looking canonically waow
He always rolls up his sleeves when he takes off his coat.
He gets paid well, so he does wear some pretty expensive clothes, even though they often get blood on them. He isn't super rich, but he does have quite an amount of excess money.
He always has the same expression: a pretty relaxed smile. He can be expressive, usually with his eyebrows, but he is always smiling.

SECRETS There's of course the obvious plot relevant secrete that he's Mika's bodyguard while also being the hitman hired to eliminate her. But aside from that, Louis' past and personal life is also somewhat of its own mystery. Every time someone asks about his past, he comes up with new and absurd stories. Of course people don't really believe him, and they honestly don't know where he actually comes from.

His name came from Louis Vuilton. No reason for that honestly.
He was slightly inspired by Patrick Bateman and Purple Guy fnaf.
He enjoys making advertisements for his hitman services. These ads don't find many people, only those who know of his true identity, but he makes them regardless. For his line of work, these ads can come off as insensitive since in them he's offering to kill other people in such an unassuming and satirical way. They have a sort of 'graphic design is my passion' feel to them.
He's been a side character for previous stories for a long time despite being my favorite oc I've made. He's finally gotten promoted to MC.
His taste in media is pretty normie. He basically likes anything that's currently popular (music, tv shows, games). He really enjoys watching bad movies, as long as they are entertaining and not boring.
He's a big fan of Adam Sandler.
He loves talking about himself, on a surface level, but he doesn't like being asked personal questions. He usually answers such questions very vaguely or just straight up lies. He's a very secretive person and dislikes talking about his past.
Due to his job, he travels a lot. He loves to boast about the different places he's been to and his experiences there, but it's difficult to tell if he's lying or not.
He likes to separate his hitman job from his ordinary life, sort of having a double life.
He's very physically strong and great at combat, being skilled with many types of weapons. He's exceptionally good at his job and is considered 'the best around'.
He enjoys photography, in a way where he takes pictures with his phone of stuff he encounters and would like to capture. So his gallery is just full of a bunch of random pics he takes.
He really enjoys playing old facebook games, he only made an account to play games and post his random pics. He fucks heavy with Pet Society (ignore the fact it was released in 2008).
He can't be serious even if his life depends on it and has to make a joke for every situation (he just like me frfr). He does a bit of trolling, engages in some shenanigans.
His fav Sanrio character, because I assign all my characters one (I'm whimsical and joyous), is Chococat.
More whimsy, bc I'm a filthy smash player, his mains are Ness & Palutena. Plays any online annoying character that he can spam and camp with. Plays Ness online to make others angry, spams PK fire to win. Overuses Palutena’s n-air and her taunts, especially that one taunt. Doesn’t play to win, plays to send a message.
My new obssesion is Marvel Rivals so his main is Winter Soldier (not bc I'm biased lmao). Always instalocks, still chooses dps even if there's already more than 2 or 3. Overuses the communication wheel, spams for heals just because. Pretty good, has great accuracy and game sense so others accuse him of cheating. Goes on all-chat and types ? and other ragebait responses after getting kills. Also plays Jeff but only bc of his ult. Never spits, takes his team down with him.

Relationships.

MIKA [ of interest ]

Mika first heard of Louis when The Five discussed the idea of hiring a bodyguard for her. Even without meeting him, Mika already had mixed feelings about him and the situation. It wasn't the idea of having a bodyguard following her around that bothered her, it was that he was hired without any of her approval. Just another instance of decisions being made for her. So when they eventually met for the first time in person, she immediately showed disdain towards Louis. It was a bit cruel, but she maybe hoped that if she pushed him away, he would eventually quit. Unfortunately for her, this is Louis. He wasn't too bothered by her attitude and he wasn't planning to quit either. This was an important job for him after all, both being her bodyguard and hired hitman. On the other hand, now he really wanted to learn more about Mika. What started as perhaps early judgment was then validated for Mika when she learnt more about Louis' character. And she did not fw him.

Unfortunately for her, Louis would have to be with her nearly all the time. It was for her own safety, and he did his job well but... His personality was definitely not favorable. For being someone so overly relaxed, he sure loves making conversation. Sure he is her bodyguard and she does make the effort to cooperate with him, but it really feels like he's simply trying to get a reaction out of her. It seems like he actually didn't take too well to the negative attitude Mika has been giving him. But after their initial rivalry settles, they really begin to realize that they're going to be stuck together for a while. So they make an effort to get along. Their personalities are still pretty polarizing, they're the introvert and extrovert that just can't see eye to eye. Louis still has a habit of messing around with her, whilst Mika is prone to ignoring his existence. They've definitely gotten closer from their time being together, as much as they may hate to admit it. Little moments such as Mika being the first to notice Louis has been overworking himself, or him pulling her away from others when she appears overwhelmed. Maybe they still don't quite get along, but they have begun to understand each other a little more.

LUKE [ subordinate ]

The two are coworkers at a convenience store, but Lukes also works as a subordinate to Louis. He isn't too fond of Louis, due to his laziness and overall personality. As his superior, Louis gives Luke a ridiculous amount of tasks. And he knows what he's doing, just doing it to bother Luke for no absolute reason. Louis considers Luke a friend yet also constantly torments and likes to mess with him for his own fun. Luke considers him a nuisance but is simultaneously terrified of him. It's sort of of a cat-and-mouse game with the two of them.

TOBI [ close friend ]

Tobi is a friend and acquaintance to Louis. Louis has known Tobi for quite some time due to working together, having mutual respect between each other. Louis doesn't trust Tobi entirely, but he doesn't see it as something too detrimental to their friendship. He sees him as a friend but would prefer to not get him too involved with his own business and plans. They have a sort of 'no hard feelings' vibe in the case they ever get put up against each other. But for the time being, and current story, Louis has become particularly important to Tobi. Louis has been working as Mika's bodyguard, a key figure for the ReVista strategy. So him and Tobi often work together to cover the strategy's needs. It is quite ideal to have a friend as your work partner for a situation like this, and Tobi very much appreciates Louis' help. However, Louis has some questionable spending habits. Yeah, it's true that Tobi said he will support him and Mika financially for ReVista. But when he receives the receipt, he notices there's a lot of blatantly pointless costs in there that are clearly just for Louis' personal needs. Whenever Tobi gets a little irritated by this, Louis just says that 'it actually was essential for the strategy.'

MADDIE [ friend ]

Since the cafe Maddie works at is right next to the convenience store, Louis sees her often. He also gets to interact with her through Luke, as he and Maddie are often close. Maddie sees Louis as friendly and kind, but that's because he only acts nice in front of her. So she's basically oblivious to the menace he truly is and the way he messes with Luke's head. Due to her obsession with celebrity culture and popular media, Louis also often refers to Maddie as an unofficial informant. He simply asks her for the latest news, since knowing such is important to his job but he can't really be bothered to find them himself. Does Maddie know this? No, not really. She personally enjoys talking to him, and simply thinks he just wants to be kept up to date.
