Overview.
Kadence is a side character for my story. A researcher with a big ego, she's prim and bossy. All of my characters come from the same story set in 2006.
Kadence is strong-headed and apathetic. She appears prim and proper, somewhat like a himedere, but she can come off as rude and condescending. With her position of power, she wouldn’t need to worry about her tone and is quite overconfident. It seems like she keeps up a strong presence to make up for her stature. It’s hard for Kady to display any emotions aside from ‘superiority’. This distance with her emotions can make her appear a bit cold and self-centered. She often looks down on others and can be pretty sassy.
The reason for her current persona is that she spent most of her early, and present years, in isolation. Truthfully, she lacks social skills. Instead of building connections with people, she chooses to be an authoritative figure. Her lack of social skills and awkwardness are not that obvious since they often appear as being part of her ‘grand’ personality. But once you notice them, you really notice them. She finds it really embarrassing when people see through her, and often resorts to screaming at them. Despite her high confidence, her self-esteem isn't that great. She constantly needs validation, which is easy for her to obtain through fear. Her two moods are being smug and looking down at others, or being frustrated and screaming at everyone.

She can be considered a bit of a shut-in. She does not hate human interaction or explicitly avoids it, but there are various occasions where she shuts herself in her lab.
Her room is huge, mostly because of her library. It's filled with light novels and informational research books.
She enjoys hosting tea parties. She has them whenever and wherever she wants. She utilizes her tea parties for both casual or business occasions.
She is an absolute yapper, and will take any opportunity to talk about her work, interests, or complain.
She is VERY chalant and easy to ragebait.
She has a habit of going on long yaps and rambles. She will yell at you if you stop paying attention to her.
Although she herself isn't too physically strong, she is able to create very strong Sparkles than can get any job done for her.
Her fav Sanrio character, because I assign all my characters one (I'm whimsical and joyous), is the Sugarbunnies.
More whimsy, bc I'm a filthy smash player, her main is Zelda. She is a sweat and will be pulling out all of the combos. Yes, she plays with a Gamecube controller. Could join a tourney and win the whole thing.
My new obssesion is Marvel Rivals so her main is Elsa. She’s the type to put hours into games, so she’s very good. Plays her because of her playstyle, but also tea. Will always be diffing the enemy team’s dps. Prefers to play dps a lot more, but she can be a flex player, although she hates it. Despite the situation, she will never throw a game and thinks throwers are losers. Always the first to type ‘gg ez’ in chat, she is a keyboard warrior. Goes on practice doom match to e-date just to feel something.

Design Notes.
A lot of her design aspects come from my old sona's design, mostly the crinoline skirt and victorian aesthetic.She tends to wear some pretty big heels.
Part of her character and design were inspired by Yuki-onna.
Her design and character is also quite inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
She favors cute fashion styles, such as coquette and lolita fashion. She basically dresses to look like a doll.
The material for her skirt is pretty flexible and light so it doesn't get in her way.

Relationships.
Kady dated Louis for about a year. With her huge expectations and needs, he was perfect for her. He gave everything to her, be it gifts or attention or both. Their time together was great... until he broke up with her. Yeah so the thing with Louis is that he doesn't like realtionships to last too long. He's had various relationships before and they've all ended reasonably well, but this one was an exception. Unlike him, Kady hasn't really been in any relationships. So this break-up was detrimental to her self-esteem. With how little meaningful connections she's had, she grew to be very dependent on him. But after all was over, she began to hate Louis. Any time they see each other, he tries his best to keep things nice and casual, but she's pissed. Aside from her own personal feelings, she does really miss this period of her life.

Despite her obvious lack of connections and friends, she seems to have a fascination with Niko. This for two things: In comparison to others, he believes her research is essential and he's generally quite polite to her. Although many do perceive Kady as a genius, they find her research and work sorta odd. In contrast, Niko finds her approach intuitive and necessary, in the case of future preparations. Niko is also much more kind and polite towards her... but that's because he knows how fragile her character is. In reality, he does find her personality to be pretty tiring. But to Kady, this kindness is irregular. She tones down her personality and is kinder to him, but her little quirks are still present. She gets pretty excited to see him, much to Niko's dismay.
The two often work together. They are able to work well with one another since Juni is pretty much immune to Kady's personality quirks. Juni is basically all low cortisol, so Kady's character doesn't really get to her. It's not that she can see through Kady, more like she's so incredibly air-headed she simply doesn't care. Due to this, Kady does treat Juni more as an equal, but also because she sees her as an asset. She also does have quite the fascination with Juni's inventions. Juni really likes going to Kady's tea parties and likes playing around with her Sparkles.
