Overview.

Felix is a side character for my story. A famous chef, he's somewhat smug and self-absorbed. All of my characters come from the same story set in 2006.

ABOUT.

Felix is a somewhat self-centered person. He is cool-headed and appears to be relatively competent. He sometimes shows himself to be emotionally detached from others due to this. Regardless, he's decently friendly and polite even with his slight superiority complex. He does often tend to feel lonely due to his lack of connections and proper 'people skills'. Beyond his smug and snobbish exterior, Felix tends to be the type to overanalyze previous conversations and beat himself over any particular comments he made. He really is the type to speak without thinking, usually being pretty snarky.

Since basically forever, Felix has had an immense passion for cooking. He views it as an art form rather than just a survival skill, holding himself and others to high standards in regards to this. Despite this, he does tend to condemn others who don't know how to cook. He has a habit of going on long tangents for things he feels strongly about, and it's basically impossible to shut him up. Felix is a perfectionist and tends to be very harsh on himself. He's quite meticulous. He really likes feeling validated and gets pretty giddy over praise.

Story.

I. CHARACTER STORY.

A celebrity chef, Felix is the poster figure of all cooking related entertainment. With various food network shows under his name, multiple dining locations across the country, and an extensive line of cooking utensils, it's clear to see his success. But he's also quite the remarkable figure outside the kitchen. Felix is well known for his meticulous approach to cooking. So may see it as doing too much, but it remains obvious to everyone that he is very passionate about his work. Always going beyond to deliver nothing short of perfection. His personality may be just a bit irritating to some, but it's just a show persona, right? Right? Even with some minor flaws, Felix has a brand image he keeps completely under control. Except for that one time he genuinely messed up and now believes it's the end of the world and continues to beat himself over it.

II. EARLY LIFE.

This is a still wip... so I'll just add a fun fact here. Out of all the New Sense Group 108 members, Felix was the only one who registered for the group on his own. The rest were all signed up by their management teams lol

III. PRESENT STORY.

Felix is part of a story I'm currently working on titled 'Walk of Fate'. His role in the story is: He is part of the same New Sense group as Mika. After a recent scandal, he was placed under the counseling group to help mediate his public image.

The basic plot: A bodyguard is hired to protect a famous singer from continuous threats, but there’s one issue: he’s also a hitman hired to eliminate her. A story set in 2006 in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic earth. A primarily slice of life + comedy story with some drama that follows the two main characters, Louis and Mika, as they struggle to cooperate amidst the fate that awaits them. DESIGN NOTES.

His whole design takes from a different oc of mine, Felix is basically the rebooted version of that oc. His design is just a basic chef uniform, but made a bit more ornate to fit his status and personality.
I have no idea what that bag he carries around has inside tbh. Probably a big spoon or a gun idk.
The gold pin on his lapel was a prize from a cooking competition.
He takes his appearance pretty seriously and always likes to looks presentable.
Bro probably has a 20-step skincare routine.
His fashion style is semi-formal streetwear.

He gets very upset when people tell him to repeat something.
He probably has like 12 cooking shows on the food network.
He actually really enjoys teaching others how to cook and tends to be pretty patient with them.
The only exception to this is Claude. He's not teaching him again after he nearly burned the kitchen.

He's the type of person who can't work on something new until he has finished previous projects.
He's always carrying a handkerchief with him, ok princess.
Aside from critiquing food, he also likes critiquing media. He prob runs a letterboxd or blog for this. He sorta has a Cinemasins approach tho his critiques so most of it is bs.
He kinda wants to get a tattoo at some point in his life, but he has no idea what to get. He'll probably end up getting one of an airfrier or something.
He gives his appliances and utensils names for some reason. He would talk to them similarly to how Ironman does to Jarvis.
His fav Sanrio character, because I assign all my characters one (I'm whimsical and joyous), is Kuririn.
More whimsy, bc I'm a filthy smash player, his main is Lucas. He doesn't play that often, he's more of a Mario Kart person tbh. Button mashes, falls off the map, and then says that he's done and leaves.
My new obssesion is Marvel Rivals so his main is The Thing. Has tried to play dps before, but was forced to be a tank main. He's decent, just pressing buttons honestly. Goes into the enemy team by himself way too often and dies instantly. He will peel for his supports, enjoys making the game miserable for divers. Will somehow go from a silver player to a gm player after getting a few compliments and pockets from his supports.

Relationships.

CLAUDE 【 close friend 】

When Group 108 (a celebrity counseling group) met for the first time, these two did NOT get along. Claude found Felix too uptight and smug, and he thought he was too brash. So for the first few days, working together was pretty difficult for them. The two were then taken to their own separate session to sort out their problems, yk like children. Something must have happened in there cause after they got out, they were suddenly all friendly with each other. They got a bit of a bromance. Despite their circumstances, they are just two dudes. Claude, considering the person he is, gets into a lot of odd situations, which Felix is constantly dragged into.

MIKA 【 friend 】

Another member of New Sense Group 108, he seems to respect Mika quite a bit. The respect is mutual between the two, Mika feels he's the only other person who's actually kinda reliable and competent. With how much he loves being validated, this is great for Felix. For Mika... she just wants to get his counseling thing over as soon as possible, so it's kinda frustrating how only one other person on the group is cooperative and has basic survival skills. Felix is also a pretty big fan of her music.

LOUIS 【 acquaintance 】

Felix knows Louis through Mika. Louis is not a part of Group 108, so they've met each other outside of it a few times in the past. Since he respects Mika, Felix naturally wants to show respect towards Louis too but... well, he doesn't really like him. Of course, his personality is just a bit too polarizing for Felix. And that's when Felix decided to challenge himself to be polite to Louis. It's not that he wants to be nice to him, he really doesn't care, he just desperately wants to be perceived as morally superior and the bigger person. He wants to prove that he too can be respectful to someone he deems to not deserve respect. Louis does notice this, he simply finds Felix hilarious and kind of a dork.

CELESTIA 【 friend 】

Another one of his Group 108 colleagues. Since the two of them view their work as a form of art, they usually bond over that. Celestia is not that great at cooking, so she's prone to ask him questions such as 'how do you make cereal'. Maybe she's just an expert ragebaiter cuz this always gets a reaction out of Felix. (my brain is fried and I cant think of anything, ill update this and make it more detailed sometime...)
