Overview.

Claude is a major side character for my story. A famous football player, he's hot-tempered and vulgar. All of my characters come from the same story set in 2006.

ABOUT.

Claude is very boisterous. He's energetic nearly all of the time, being a very competitive person. He is really reckless, the type to not think before acting. It's easy for him to get carried away and get into accidents, which he does, all the time. He is hot-tempered and can get irritated easily, making him rude and angry. He often gets physical when he's upset. Despite this distasteful attitude, Claude can be dumb and clueless most of the time. However, this often leads him to be angry at something without even knowing why or what he's upset at. When he does realize this, he denies that he's wrong, even if he knows he is, because he's too prideful. Or he's just embarrassed to admit he's wrong. Internet arguments with him would be exhausting.

Claude speaks very loudly and vulgarly, he has the full profanity dictionary. He's direct with his speech and talks pretty quickly. He can get impatient when he's bored during a conversation, which he'll make known through his attitude. He's also quite talkative, in a way where he always has something to say. There are various times he doesn't know when to shut up. Still, he isn't always angry or rude and can be friendly even with his quirks, very dude bro. Claude has an unreasonable uneasiness around girls. Usually feeling flustered and uncomfortable around them.

Story.

I. CHARACTER STORY.

Claude is a famous and well-known football player. He's extremely talented when it comes to the game, having a great track record. Although not the same could be said about his personality. Among the public, Claude is considered somewhat of a clueless fool. Not to be confused with being a himbo, he's a bit too angry to have the heart for that, so he's really more of a jock. But as with all attractive people, this is seen as endearing. His fans love him for who he is, and because of how he looks let's be real for a moment, but he's unsure if he should see this as a compliment or not.

II. EARLY LIFE.

Claude was raised in a pretty average family in Brooklyn, maybe a little too average and sort of boring. His family was a bit on the poorer side, so he didn't have very many luxuries. So, he would often spend most of his time outside, sometimes playing basketball with some local kids. Life could have been better, but it was fine. That was until he had a major accident, the first of many, when he was a child. Fortunately, the accident wasn't too serious for the family, but Claude would suffer the greatest injury as he would take a big hit to his head. Soon taken to the hospital, he made a quick recovery. However, after this he would show a major change with his personality. He had now become much more energetic and active than he used to be. It was a sudden change that his much more mild family did not know how to approach. As a point of reference, take that episode from The Amazing World of Gumball where Gumball is a little kid. The family ended up having a lot of trouble when it came to raising him after this accident, since to them he was an uncontrollable ball of energy.

It was this new behavior of his that would start Claude's passion in sports. He was already an active person before, he just now had way too much energy. He would dedicate a lot of time to this. He would play all types of sports, but he eventually joined the football team at his school. Sure, there were a lot of penalties on his part, but he was truly talented. This would lead him to getting a scholarship upon graduating high school. All of this would then lead to his success as a famous and successful football player. Sports became something pretty good for him since they sorta became an outlet for him to use all of his energy on. But it wasn't just an increase in energy, this change in character would also cause him to be more hot-tempered, which only began to escalate as time went on. It's caused him a number of accidents, as clearly seen. Now, he's a bit more in control of his actions and emotions, but he's still a lot more reckless than the average person.

III. PRESENT STORY.

Claude is part of a story I'm currently working on titled 'Walk of Fate'. His role in the story is: He is part of the same New Sense group as Mika. Due to unpleasant public appearances, he was placed under the counseling group to help with his PR skills.

The basic plot: A bodyguard is hired to protect a famous singer from continuous threats, but there’s one issue: he’s also a hitman hired to eliminate her. A story set in 2006 in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic earth. A primarily slice of life + comedy story with some drama that follows the two main characters, Louis and Mika, as they struggle to cooperate amidst the fate that awaits them. DESIGN NOTES.
Claude keeps his jacket and shirt unbuttoned since it feels uncomfortable for him to close them due to his many scars.
He has a lot of scars, particularly in his mid-section. They come from various accidents and situations.
He wears a shirt underneath his jacket to be prepared in case he ever gets told to cover them up.
He wears dark pants because he believes they last longer. They don't.
He takes great care of his hair, always bringing a comb with him to make sure it always looks good.
He has a prosthetic arm. This was caused by a major accident he had. He got used to the prosthetic pretty quickly and actually prefers it. He considered replacing his other arm too but his teammates and family desperately talk him out of trying anything.
His face is considered to be intense looking, but he's still very popular amongst the public for his looks.

My new obssesion is Marvel Rivals so his main is Iron Man. Thinks the Jarvis jokes are the funniest thing ever, plays like every lobotomy IM main on TikTok. Solo ults supports way too often. MIKA [ ex girlfriend ]

Mika is one of Claude's New Sense group mates (alongside Celestia, Felix, and Damien). Basically, New Sense is a celebrity counseling group that has become more prominent due to the current disputes with the Branch of Promise. Their particular group is Group 108, this group is special due to the fact that it's made up of celebrities with 'problems' that have affected their career. However, Claude is surprised to see Mika because she's also his ex girlfriend.

Their relationship was primarily for publicity and set up by their management teams. The relationship didn't start off too well at first since they were basically just forced to be together and their personalities did not exactly match. But over time, they eventually got closer to one another. It was a bit awkward from time to time, mostly coming from Claude's uneasiness, but they liked being with each other. Their relationship lasted for about 2 years until they broke up. By this point, their relationship no longer had to continue. And even if they did like each other, their romantic feelings were not as strong. In hindsight, they felt better as friends. They don't talk as often due to being busy, but they still have a good relationship. Mika has always been kind and patient with him during and after their relationship. Even now, she still views him fondly and continues acting welcoming towards him rather than being closed off. With Claude, he still acts awkward around her, but that's just how he is around women. Even if he no longer has feelings towards her, he sometimes wonders if something about his hot-tempered behavior was the catalyst to them ending things.

FELIX [ close friend ]

When Group 108 (a celebrity counseling group) met for the first time, these two did NOT get along. Claude found Felix too uptight and smug, and he thought he was too brash. So for the first few days, working together was pretty difficult for them. The two were then taken to their own separate session to sort out their problems, yk like children. Something must have happened in there cause after they got out, they were suddenly all friendly with each other. They got a bit of a bromance. Despite their circumstances, they are just two dudes. Claude, considering the person he is, gets into a lot of odd situations, which Felix is constantly dragged into.

CELESTIA [ close friend ]

Another one of his New Sense Group 108's group mates. They both struggle with their PR, Claude does too much while Celestia does too little. So they often practice their media skills with each other, which led them to grow closer together. It also helps Claude get a bit more comfortable interacting with women. Celestia might be one of the few people who still has some respect left for Claude. While others see him and all the accidents he gets into as pathetic, she finds him incredibly cool. Claude has a lot of scars due to getting in many accidents, so he awkwardly retells the stories of how he got them. Celestia really enjoys hearing him tell his stories. She often equates him to be something like a hero from a fantasy story.
